Hi

As the title suggests, can anyone tell me where I can buy a set of foam wings for a T180

Thanks

Dougie

This may not help Dougie, but back in the day, there were a number of model shops

who cut foam cores, as they were constant chord, and they or we covered those with veneer

They were not sold as T180, as that would be copying, but they were exactly the right size.

Those model shops are gone but there are lads who can cut foam cores

Hi Dougie, have you got any broken bits of the old ones, and why foam, easy and cheap enough to knock up a set of built up wings. Broken bits will give the dimensions, then it's a sheet of depron for the ribs, pine spars from a diy shop, a few sticks of balsa, and sheet it over, or depron sheeting, or tex or film to cover

There are new foam wings for the Flair Cub on Ebay, a similar size.  Or, I have a set of T180 wings in reasonable condition in my shed in E Kent.

Hi Dougie, why don't you give Cloud Models a ring, they cut foam wings to order. I was quoted £50 for a pair of Chilli Wind wings, to give you an idea of cost. There seem to be a few sets of plans about for the T180 if you don't mind building them. You could also ask Derek Scott (model-plans.co.uk) if he has a set available, although the T180 is not listed amungst the other Precedent Kits plans.

SLEC have the manufacturing rights for all the Precedent kits so if you ask nicely they might be able to cut you a set of ribs to order.
