I have been contemplating building the piper cub from the plans from the above site

However before I order the cut parts I asked if the fibreglass cowl was available

Three calls and three weeks later Im none the wiser, is there any other source for a cowl for this size of cub (79"

This seems to be the 79 inch Super Cub published in Aviation Modeller ( Model Activity Press) by David Boddington August 1996. Cowl seems to be the 'MAP' cowl sold by Carbon Copy.

Flying Scale Models and Aviation Modeller Int were incorporated into Model Flyer and now Flying Scale Models is part of Doollittle Press. ( do they live up to their name? )

I suggest you also consider the DB Sport & Scale Cub and also see the Phillip Kent plans sold direct by him ( note he shows a phone number if you want to speak to him )
