We don't have wind and rain in Flintshire! OK ok, I took this the last time I got out but missed the squadron of pigs that flew over on 6th Febsmiley Martys6470001.jpg

At least another month of this as well.

The storms are supposed to be named in alphabetical order. . We have just had Storm Dennis, and now we are going to be blown away by Storm Jorge. . So what happened to Storms E, F, G H and I ... ???? dont know

You have left the EU, but not the storm naming system. This one is south, and Spain spotted it. And named it. Be grateful that Storm Gibrater is no longer available.

Happy wet week.

Apparently, Spain had it first and named it Jorge (pronounced "horhay" ). Once named, the name is used by other countries.

Boris is working on it John. Or it had been delegated, or promoted? To Dominic, or Carrie. Uncertain times!

The Wrinkly Fliers ( a geriatric sub-group of members of the Central MFC ) have the answer - a breakfast 'meeting' at an inexpensive local hostelry every 3-4 weeks where we get a chance to catch up over a plateful the traditional British Heart Attack. There's much to recommend it - like any good club - the companionship is as much part of membership as the flying.

Oh I like the sound of that. Much better idea than some clinical evening meeting in the village hall with iffy beer and one person going on ad infinitum! I will suggest it to my committee "mole" when I see him on Monday.

Beaut weather here all the time 52 weeks a year. Suggest you consider relocating to Oz especially if you're retired.

Love you Brisbane...Australia....

Not a bad idea John but several things stop me. Firstly, the Pound Sterling is weak against the Australian Dollar. Secondly, weren't there a lot of fires Down Under recently and thirdly, didn't you have some floods in Queensland a few years ago?  cheeky
