The lads have to test negative before every meeting Keith

Or they cannot play

They also have a strict " bubble " regime, all agreed months ago

Lucky them, if that’s the case.

Bet, though, that there are more than a few frustrated people who might consider themselves more worthy of the same attention and opportunity to be regularly tested.

No problem. We have a very large field and pits area. Just social distance, do not share any equipment, and use common sense. Looking forward to the next few days as we are having some nice flying weather.

A related issue, albeit slightly off topic.

Anyone watching “Match Of The Day” might have just cause for wondering if a certain group of people have been officially exempted from following or complying with government advice and, if so, why? Other than the absence of spectators, it looks like business as usual to me and in the seemingly complete absence of any criticism within the media or by politicians.

It hardly sends out a consistent message to the public, nor does it help to combat the conspiracy theorists or the persuading of the irresponsible and the selfish.

Perhaps it’s a cricket preferring Tory government conspiracy to kill off footballers?

Some dopey government minister said we can go to the Glyndebourne Opera as it's now open.

The tickets start at 100 quid each and have always had several years waiting list if you are not a regular 'memba'.

Shows how the government is real in touch with the 'masses'. Don't forget to wash the smell of glow fuel out of your 'suit and tails'

Keith is  talking about the World Health Organisation's model plane club, which he is in, obviously.

I have no problem with anybody going to Glyndebourne, my local theatre, nail bar and so on, or the local flying field.

Would i go to any of these venues at present, no, perhaps to have my nails done, is a maybe. I expect there are people who think that flying toy planes is pathetic, and spending thousands of pounds on a large model and RC set is a sure sign of decadence.

I have been thinking about my nails, perhaps i should have had them done before the pandemic, as now it will be "to little to late".smiley For now a good coat of dope will do it, if only I had some coloured stuff.sad
