Nice alternative Ron. There so many types available your spoilt for choice. A bit of extra work to start with but I consider worth it.

I have watched others trying to sort which connection goes where as there previously pre marked labels had come off smiley

Been there and also got fed up fighting the wind whilst balancing the wing and plugging in 6 different wires and then the safety clips. My only complaints against the MaxLocs are that the pins aren’t the same as standard connector pins and they are a very tight fit in their housings.

Can we just look at the bigger picture for a minute?

Ever since I watched the original Flight of the Phoenix , I realised that a model aircraft designer ,even in that case, the hero of the day , was always going to be a figure of ridicule . Now this has puzzled me and bugged me like a gnat in the bedroom . How can a woman like Kim Kardashian who has no discernable talent, be idolised by millions and correspondingly financially rewarded ? And yet outside of our world , who has even heard of Brian Taylor or Gordon Whitehead?

Then it came to me.

Like Bruce Forsyth's famous "alright my love ?" , the big earners have catch phrases .

Coca Cola - "Its the real Thing "

Audi - "Vorsprung durch Tecknik"

Heineken - "Reaches the parts that other beers cant reach "

So I thought to myself , this is the route to riches . So what do you think ?

Definition of 'Experts'........ is

Ex ---- a hasbeen

Spurt --- a drip under pressure.

I feel that by insulting the lads as muppets you may lose your bank balance purchasing Haribos for the lads!

Oh ! Here we go . Ive just taken this shot in mid flow , He's got the Gavel out and is well into his Sermon .

Its just a rant of squeaks, I daren't translate or the moderator will have my trousers off .

The gavel is going down like an MG42 . Not seen that rate of fire since the Normandy beaches in Private Ryan . rev sweep.jpg

And he's got big Graham wound up like a clockwork orange (that's green) .

I might need a while to diffuse the situation .

Talk among yourselves for a bit .

Richard, NEVER get in the way of a preacher and his gavel. I fear for you trying to sort those two out(especially when Graham is totally wound up).

I understand that Haribos might help to calm the situation and get those two herberts back to work sorting out our P51's.

Get those muppets back on the drawing board to finish that 110 and put my name on it. Ju 88 nearly ready for test, it may be a while looking at the weather forecast. Will send plenty of Haribo's if that's what it takes.

Sitting here contemplating my navel, removing the toast crumbs, what with the main uk suppliers not currently able to source balsa.

I think we need to enjoy the kits we have. It may be a long time before we see many more.

Covid-19, balsa shortage, the Chinese aren't my favourites at the moment......

Paul, I think it is a plot by the Chinese to boost their flagging foamie sales after they recreated the building bug with their Corona virus wink

Glued in place, make sure that the holes are aligned.

Retracts fitted. Now the two ply triangular packing pieces are not part of the kit. I have had issues with the retracts at my field which is hard and a bit lumpy in places. The spring coils help but I had the retract top plate being broken away from the unit on finding a rough patch. Supporting the lower part of the mechanism seems to help a lot and has dramatically reduced occurrence of damage.

Maybe a grass roller might help!
