![]() 351 forum posts 46 photos | I remember the ATS Kite it was a very standard looking trainer so it requires a very standard CoG, 33% should do just fine. If you want it to be more lively you could try moving it back a little at a time until it's just lively enough. A. |

![]() 1241 forum posts 72 photos | Simon many moons ago I Iearned to fly on a Kite at the old ATS school near Swindon; I bought a second hand one two years ago for training/teaching other members of my club and converted it to a tricycle u/c from a tall dragger. I contacted my old ATS instructor who now lives in the USA and he advised that the C of G was 25-30% of wing chord.
