well success/ish at making a sewn hinge(first attempt)only been aero modelling since last century(60's)…..bit over engineered I think...but fit for purpose...the Dracon marches on towards defying gravity.... not much to do now,i fitted a top hatch near the c of g mark and touch wood(balsa) it looks like the model wont need any additional ballast...….msg for R Harris...… i'll do his trousers now...

the Dracon is done for(temporary) …..came to introduce some electric into its innards and the motor decided to stutter.no amount of swapping the leads around would persuade it to have a go in doing what its designed to do(Work)...I checked everything still no good...swapped the motor for another one and it worked perfect...so a phone call to R/Radio control, explained the problem and another is in the post to me...….so a bit of a delay...secret

the Dracon has had its maiden flight.flew straight off a few clicks of up trim(bearing in mind its a canard) I thought I would do myself a good turn by putting in a couple of clicks of up in(in fact I had put down in)!.....so off it went, quickly sorted the trim and it flys really nice....nothing untoward to sort out.the position I chose for the battery before completing the build has worked out ok...no weight to add to sort the c of g.the 2nd motor I chose doesn't appear to be very powerful so I may swap it out for another...….anyone thinking about making this model, jump in,its a goodin....and a bit of a floater in the landing ……...my first canard.
