Yesterday mid afternoon I ordered some Rx batteries From SMC in Worthihg . I paid by Lloyds debit card but the security check failed as the screen went blank while connecting to Lloyds. I repaid with a Halifax debit card - no problems. Usually I get a confirmation email and another to say the order has been sent, but didn't get either. My cart was empty so assumed it had gone through. Checked this morning still no email. 11.30 this morning the batteries arrived safely.

Well done SMC and the postie.

I've always found SMC's service to be exemplary, but to be honest, retailers either on-line or bricks and mortar, just can't afford to be anything other than on top of their game these days.

I have to agree, S.M.C. are in my top 3. I live in the midlands and stuff gets here the next day, at the most in 2 days.

Also they carry some obscure/hard to get stuff...I recently bought a brand new synthesized module (all channels) for my 35 Mhz optic 6 Tx.

Have to admit they are my "local" shop 18 miles away.
