Thanks for opening my eyes, Jon. I now see there are model aircraft all around my house and garden just dying to get airborne. The only thing I am a bit short of, at the moment, is nails. I recommend the type that bend over half inch before being fully home and are then beaten flat |

405 forum posts 64 photos | What's really good about my fence panels is they look as though they already have the JON0010 airfoil section, although on closer inspection I see that some are slightly cambered. Edited By John Stainforth on 09/07/2020 15:36:14 |

5750 forum posts 275 photos | Small update on proceedings. Petrol crankshafts have gone to be hardened and will be back...sometime. In the meanwhile i will be getting the rest of the engine on the move pending their return and manufacture of a few other parts.
The first new 160 (25cc) multi was assembled and test run today. Very much an ugly duckling at the moment due to its prototype nature but it ran very well so i hope to tart it up a bit and build some more. It also bodes well for the 30cc version of the same engine. I will probably test fly it myself quite soon and see how we go. |

Wot 4XL and 1/4 scale Citabria pro both available as test beds. ted Im ok with sending it as long as you are ok with sending it back! In fairness its very unlikely, but in the event of major drama it might need to come home. As for show and tell..not yet. I would, but there are reasons i cant so just give me a little while longer. All will become clear. |

5750 forum posts 275 photos | Cant say yet but can explain why. Today i was visited by Moderator Steve to take some photos and get some info on all the goings on at Laser in preparation for a write up in RCME. Clearly, it would not be very fair to spill all the beans on here as it would damage their article. Also, i am not ready to spill the beans anyway but should be by the time the piece in the mag goes live. Clever eh? |
