Can anyone tell me if a Futaba T7CP transmitter goes with a Futaba R137P receiver and where does the power lead plug into the receiver its only marked 1234567/8

Have you got crystals Andy, there isn't one in the picture

Power goes the right way round in an unused channel usually 7/8

And can go in by Y Lead if all channels are used

Despite having gone 2.4 for many aircraft I still use my T7CP for other now and then planes. Still my favorite TX .

As above you just need a crystal. [ single conversion type ]

Thanks for replies, oddly enough the transmitter has a crystal but the receiver doesn't. Guess I will have to order a pair.

That's a 7 channel receiver and channel 7 is marked 7/B. B is for battery smiley

If you need to use channel 7, the battery can be plugged into any unused channel as the power lines are all bused together on the PC Board. No need to use a Y lead.

Thanks, I read it to be 7/8 not 7/B now all I need is a set of crystals

Andy, just look up Futaba single conversion crystals, and they are marked with a number and Tx and Rx

If you are near hills where gliders may fly 35mhz, as they still do

Then you choose an Odd number for your crystals, e.g. 71, for the pair

The glider lads usually choose even numbers, e.g. 68

So there is less chance of a conflict

You can plug the battery in any free space on the Rx . To use channel seven just use a "Y" lead for the battery and servo. Great Tx and easy to set up.
