So the Pod is finished, the new maiden is to follow soon, fingers crossed.

My Impala power-pod is smaller and much less aesthetic but I've made it independent,
having no connecting wires. It has its own dedicated throttle receiver, ESC and battery
and so can be rubber-banded to almost anything:

Thanks interesting Phil, so is the thrust angle positive or negative, I haven't tried mine but my research suggests it should be positive?

I think you're right Cliff, but I'd made it before I realised. If I slide it right to the T/E its about level smiley

Ok, I wish I'd thought of using a three-blader, it would have kept things closer to the c of p, of well, next time.
