Don Valley MFC Open Weekend.

Open weekend 12th-13th September.

Some camping available limited numbers, so best to pre book, proof of insurance required to fly please.

Drinks food, on site loo, shops close by. Covid guidelines in place.

Gate open Friday afternoon, once set up flying can take place.

No rain dances before then if you don't mind.

Bumpety.

Bring a chair if you're coming.

Plenty space if you want to sell something.

Should be ok to do it, will be cleaning the caravan this weekend, car is already packed! lucky to have 2 cars and leave the towing car ready to go.

I don't envy you trying to make a decision under the new rules announced last night!

Technically of course it is the individual attendees responsibility as to whether they attend or not and in any case the new rules don't apply til Monday but.......

Event is still on, It's a big field with plenty of room, we cut the marquee out to stop gathering in enclosed spaces, hand wash and disinfectant on site, signs reminding folk of distancing, if anyone wants a mask we'll give you one, only been advertised on here and our website.

Choice is up to each person, field is immaculate wind down the strip, looking forward to it.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all those involved in the open day today. The field was as superb as always.

Windy, yes, but it stayed dry all day.

Took 6, flew 5 (eventually) & crashed 2. I picked up all the Depron bits, honest.

Don'y worry about the folding chair I left behind.
