Received a plane from Hobbyking. Small part was damaged. I contacted them and they sent me a pack of parts with no questions asked. Nice to get good service. I do tend to use the EU warehouse (while I can) as the postage is sometimes cheaper and quicker.

Likewise with a Volantex Pioneer 2400, except long spar diameter to big and elevator control rod too short. No quibbles, HobbyKing sent replacement parts. First class 5* customer service

I don't use them anymore but I must say that when I was their customer service is very good.

Stuart Warne has recently returned to HK. I think he was a huge driving force behind customer service certainly with the durafly brand. Hopefully this won’t be the last of these sort of praise we see for HobbyKing

I was a big customer of Hobbyking when they first started. A very good website and good stock and selection. Now their website is awful always returning to page one when you are looking for something. Their stock levels are now abysmal so I now shop elsewhere.

HobbyKing customer service has been excellent in the last few years. Just as good as the first class service you get from MotionRC and all the brilliant UK suppliers (SMC, The Balsa Cabin, RCWorld, Wheelspin Models, SLEC etc, etc)
Unfortunately the same can no longer be said about Horizon Hobby. Their service used to be great, but is now the worst I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Instead of trying to resolve an issue, I was shocked to receive a barrage of abuse and insults from Horizon employees over email and on social media! This is not an isolated issue either, as I have witnessed other Horizon customers being attacked and insulted on social media. I will never buy anything from Horizon ever again.

Another vote of confidence in HK (EU).
Recently had the EDF unit fail in my 18 month old Flycat, which had only flown six times.
HK replaced it, plus a $50 good will credit.
Outstanding customer service, who get all my orders.
