Hi, Anybody built the larger of the Panics and converted to electric. Says it can be powered by electric but i can not see in the manual where you could insert a 5s lipo. Thank you for any advice given.

Building one at the moment, the new laser cut kit.The battery hatch is in between the cabanes,a five cell fits easily,I constructed a ply battery tray.I am using a quantum 55 motor but as these are in short supply overlander or 4 max should have equivalents.

Hi, Thank you for that, With the batt at this position will you have to take the top wing off to access the batt.

I have fitted a Tom Cat 5030 400kv motor to mine with an 80amp esc and use 5000ma 6s lipo and all I can say is it is as good as the old days with a 61 up front!

PS. The 6s lipo does go in without taking the wing off and it balanses spot on.

Mine has a 4258 500kv motor, 60A esc and 6S 4000 pack propped with a 14*8 for 800W. As Brian says, the pack slides in easily from the rear.

I think I got mine off Ebay, or you could just solder a washer on as a retainer. Panics don't generally spend much time rolling around on their wheels face 1

I like to solder a brass tube to the end of the piano wire extended just beyond the end. Then the wheels can be secured with a washer and a split pin through a hole in the brass. Almost zero chance of losing wheel in flight and needing a very skliful lamding to avoid damage
