BMFA 2021 Membership ????

Am I the only one but tried to renew my BMFA membership and CAA reg on the BMFA web site today but gave up. When I go in to the cart there is nothing in the cart .Tried several times but gave up in the end .Anyone else having the same trouble. Try to ring the BMFA ,just had an answear phone on .

Contrary to the BMFA's email, renewal is not available until 2nd Dec.

no - working for me, I did:

login, go to membership page, clicked the big green 'renew' button

next page appeared, I clicked orange 'finish' button, then 'go to cart'

cart appeared with "total items... 1" and the correct monetary value showing.

Still not working for me. Looks like the CAA renewal is not available for another 23 days!!!

Looks like it is a bit of a mess again.It will not let me renew the CAA reg

There is an issue and it is being worked on, should be ok a bit later on.

Still can not renew my membership on line again or more precise I can not reg with the CAA I must be unlucky I seem to have this problem a lot. Might not bother with it this year .(BMFA and CAA save myself £47  )

Just worked fine for me, although I note that the website says it is up and running from 9am 2nd December

I renewed this evening. No problems at all.

Still not working when using an iPad to try to access the subs portal. I get a screen with a red "Log in" bar and a white "Sign up " bar, neither of which do anything. Emailed BMFA admin so they can (hopefully) get their techies to sort it.

The problem seems to be renewing your CAA reg .I can renew my BMFA membership but not the CAA Reg

All works as long as you do not add the CAA renewal. Its a logic issue related to different expiry dates that has now been identified and I understand the support team are very close to implementing the solution.

I will drop a post here once its sorted. Just a little more patience please.

Just tried it and both BMFA and CAA renewal worked OK - I have the emails and their attached documents to prove it!

Yes, I managed to get my CAA renewal today a day after the BMFA renewal. I guess I now need to be updated by CAA on my OP ID.

I'm not sure if this will have a bearing on the above or not, but as far as I'm aware the CAA renewal will not proceed if you have more than 21 days remaining before your renewal date.
