I built a SWOT from the free plan a couple of years ago. Mine was an electric conversion so I had to extend the nose to get the CG right. I liked the model's appearance and the use of foam board in its construction. Alas, my SWOT is no more although I've still got the wing up in the loft. Two points - the wing loading was quite high, 22Oz/Sq Ft because of the narrow chord wing. Also mine had a bad tendency to ground loop but moving the wheels further forward would help that. My SWOT flew well for a while until the battery ran down in flight and I tried to turn downwind to get back to the strip. You can guess the rest.. too low, too slow. Yes a tip stall and spin into the deck. Fuselage smashed forward of the wing, tail; and wings ok. Would I build another? Yes but I'd build it lighter and move the u/c forward. Hope this helps.
