I have just bought a F 75S four stroke and reading the instructions it says to use a mix of 30% oil, 10-15% nitro is recommended. A blend of Castor and Synthetic oils is best.

I did not realise that you could get fuel with that high oil content (and can not find any), so is it a typo.  Has anyone got any experiences of using standard 10 % nitro castor or synthetic fuels?

Thanks in advance   Paul

Sounds a huge amount of oil to me...15-18% would be more normal for a 4 stroke!!!

Lots of debate around fuels & oils.....I use Southern Modelcraft Mo-Glo 5% for all my engines (2 & 4 stroke) without any problems. It has 15% synthetic oil & 2% castor. Some say not to use castor in a 4 stroke as they gum up. Others say a bit of castor is beneficial!!!!! I think a lot will depend on what you can get your hands on easily. If its a new engine I would check with the importers & follow their recomendations...just in case of warranty issues

This might also help.....here
