Hi all. Just thought i'd share a picture with you of the preperation of our new flying field located in Byley, Cheshire. Myself and Pete (in the pic) spent the whole of yesterday afternoon in the sunshine rolling the patch. My back is killing me now but it'll be worth the effort. Its a superb site with the sun behind us and not too many obstructions to park the models in! Although trees are like model magnets! We did manage to get a little bit of raptor and wot4 action during brew breaks, rude not to. So if you fancy a flip let me know and i'll give you directions

Oh, 2.4 only. Club rule

Excellent stuff. We'll light the bbq for you and chuck a few bangers on (thats sausages not old planes)  bring your mates. I'll have to measure the strip and post the dimensions. Its not massive but we dont have any problems. Pete's extrawot manages fine.

Nice strong undercart on that model, but the engine and wings are a bit small, surely?

Local club within 2 mile We dont want to cause any interference with their models. We cant if 2.4 only. No need for peg system, no clashing frequencys. New club so easy to set this rule up

We thought we'd go 1 better. Two wheels are better than 1! Much flatter now

That rear wing looks a bit flimsey. Better not exceed 100 MPH
