6 volt batteries for ar6200 receiver

1600 mah ok?

Hi all,
 
ive just bought x2 1600mah 6 volt batteries for the spectrum DX6i receiver would these be ok to run x4 high torques off of?.

Rx will be fine, but if servo's are digital you need to check they are OK on 6v, there are some that are only OK on 4.8v.
 
Are the batteries AA or sub C cells, either should be fine but typically the sub C's will suffer less voltage drop under load due to lower internal resistance.

Not really enough info to give an informed answer. Can we assume that you are using both and connecting in parallel to give 6v at 3200mah? Do you know the spec of the servos. Even used singularly should be fine, depending on how long you expect to be flying?
 
In general terms then, should be fine, but more info should result in a more accurate answer. Spektrum recommend 6v for their receivers.
