I am using a 35mhz XP652 for the master and a DX6i as the slave, my problem is i get all controls except down elevator, does anyone know why this is?

The slave unit does not have down elevator. My buddy lead is a phono, maybe i could try it with a stereo cable.

Something else comes to mind, how do you propose to take control with the master if it is going to transmit on another waveband?

Only one transmitter ever transmits when using a buddy lead

Yeah what he said basically the D.S.C stick inputs get sent through the buddy lead then to the master transmitter and get transmitted when the trainer switch is switched

Yep ok, got it now, never used a buddy system before. Please disregard my last post.
