Self taught (starting with single channel push button radio)

Chose Mode 2 'cos the right stick then had the same controls a full size gliders I was learning to fly at that time.

Most of my West Midlands club fly Mode 1. This is perpetuated by all club training being on Mode 1

Mode 4 on everything. Can fly 2 if I have to

Self taught mostly
I taught myself on 2ch liders and the tranny had two sticks so I used both. It made it easier to seperate the rudder and elevator.

Had a gliding licence when 20 - so learn that REAL 
'planes have the primary controls on one stick. Can't convince
the locals (French) that they are all barking up the wrong tree!

Progressed from freeflight and control line and started with two channel converted Freeflight model.More like guidance than proper R/C.
