Hi all,

well, I have recently gained an interest in designing my own planes. However I have done one on paper id now like to purchase some software to practise some ideas.

So what would I need to buy and whats the best thing to buy?. Once you have complteted your design on the computer would you have to download it to a stick to take to a print/copy shop to print off your plan?.

Will it tell you where to put formers and ribs or can you manipulate it to how you would like it?, what i mean is, will it give you reccomendations?.

Feedback appreciated,
cheers all.

I'd suggest DevCad from Stefano Duranti www.devcad.com or DevFus.

You can get a free download to try. One of its best fratures is the ability to import an image ang trace around it to form the outline of your CAD drawing.
