Will the special 50th Anniversary Issue be included, like the annual "Special" for subscribers ?  If not I will arrange for my Stepmum to pick it up for me when issued and post to me here in Dubai.  I am over in the UK until 11th June and miss the issue date by a couple of weeks I believe .

It's a one-off issue Roger so no it won't be automatically going to subscribers.

Hi David, you mentioned to me in a PM that we could order it, where and how?

Hi Tony, yup, online or by phone here
From memory I think the issue goes on sale early July.

Don't think it's available to pre-order yet Barry, I'll check.

I do know it'll only be on sale in WH Smiths or direct from our publisher MyHobbyStore.

Hi David,

I guess it will not go up on the "Digital Issues" section?

Correct. Subscriptions cover the usual 12 issues and the Autumn Special issue, 13 in all.

Thanks for the upate David, will get my Stepmum to pop into "Smiffs" and post it to me here.  Will have to let her know what the cover looks like so hopefully at least a cover shot in a previous mag or here on the forum.

I keep getting reminders via email to order a copy of the 50th anniversary issue, BUT I HAVE already bought one.
Do the reminders mean its all gone wrong or just that the computer sends them out regardless?  Id hate to miss my copy, especially as I have paid for it!!!

Don't worry David, I think the system isn't clever enough to detect your order. The copies arrived in the office this week so they should be going out very soon.

For those who pre ordered and puchased early, like me, (02/06 ) and a message was sent to you, saying it would forecoming and in the post, wrong, what you recieved was a computer generated notifcation, I have been informed by a very nice gentleman James Teal, that, that was the case, actually, at that time it was not even "off the press", so all is good, and I  will have to wait a little longer

I read mine cover to cover yesterday, very good souvenir issue. I wonder what mint copies of the 25th anniversary edition are worth and whether we should all put aside a sealed unread copy of this edition as part of the pension plan?

mine arrived yesterday morning, boy did it bring back a few memories, and that ohm8 is fighting for a place on the building board already (with ailerons though).  i'm sure I've still got the original free PushyCat plan floating around somewhere.  An excellent read so far (wonder why I was late for work this morning?)
Putting a copy aside as a pension plan may be a little optimistic though!

Good to see you have reviewed the Galaxy Magician; I have one which I have converted to electric 700 Watts on a 4S Lipo and its brilliant, flys as if on rails, endless vertical and a really stable flyer  - a great first low winger/aerobatic training model.

Yes I built several of the Galaxy kits in the 1990s and they all flew/fly well.

Did anyone spot all those Skyleader transmitters in the piece on Ali M seniors collection? That's a lot of transmitters!
