Hi guys'
Can anyone help me out, I have been given an Extreme  Flight ( Air Boss 25 A ) speed controller and an Extreme Flight Torque 22T930 brushless motor.
The problem I have is that the 3 wires have been cut when they were taken out of they're previous model and all the wires are yellow !!!   ( See picture below )   I gather they must be connected in a certain way or can I just use the trial and error method or will this cause damage to the esc.
I have been assured that these were working fine before.
   Many thanks

You can do trial and error with it, i do the same with some of the motors i have ermm removed from slightly bashed n dented models.  Generally you wire them up anyway you like to start with and then check the motor is turning the right way.  Never had a problem causing damage to esc this way.

Hi Phil,
I'm new to this electric thing to - but this is what I've found out. Wire them any way you like - it doesn't matter. If the motor goes backwards then swop any two and all is dandy.

correct biggles you spot on , the only important thing is to get the +ve and -ve the right way round on the battery end ,if it runs the wrong way just swap 2 of the motor wires round

Thanks guy,
sorry Timbo  To be honest I did not look beyond the end of my nose. I wonder if we, as forum users, do not  use this site to the full when seeking advice or info'.

Guess you now know ! Just connect them in any order and if the motor runs the wrong way reverse any two.
