FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

I made an online order some weeks ago with Kings Lynn Model Shop as their price of the fabled 'WOT 4 Foam-E' was very competitive.

I rang them up to see if they knew when Ripmax might finally make this model available and the guy I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and honest.

Unfortunately I've now cancelled my order with them as I don't think Ripmax will be able to make this available until Christmas (I hope I'm wrong!). Cancelling the order was an equally pleasent experience. Rang up and was met again with great customer service, very understanding and helpful.

I would personally recommend this hobby shop and will be shopping online with them in the near future.

Same detail for me. I ordered the Overlander 58" YAK 54 from them, fast delivery and great customer service; also good advice on the servos THEY use on THEIR Overlander Yak for competition flying.

Top Marks to Kings Lynn Model Shop.

I suspect in Allan's case, Kings Lynn Model Shop (and Allen) have been failed by RIPOFFMAX. Ripmax really need to look at their customer service charter IMHO.

Ripmax have finally delivered the Fabled "WOT 4 Foam-e" to the UK.
So I have returned to Kings Lynn Model Shop and parted with my money.

Better than 1st class service yet again, they should win an RCM&E award!
They have my vote this year.

You must be one of the first owners Allan, let us know what you think of the model.

Will do David.
If I can hold myself back I might take the time to do an "unboxing" video.

Steve at Kings Lynn Models said he had a shop full of WOT Foamys delivered this morning and only 2 were left 10:30am !

He also reports more are on there way tomorrow (Thu 26th Aug 2010).

I'm soooo excited !

Needed a new WOT4 artf u/c -  - Fedexed to me in less than 24hrs at modest cost.

So if you bend 'em or break 'em  - you now know where to get spare parts in a hurry without being ripped off.

This shop was a waste of time for me.
Good price online attracted me.
Five days later an email sent to say that the order was cancelled because they couldn't deliver an aircraft to just north of Aberdeen!
Pathetic and unbelievable in this day and age!

That really does surprise me Bob, have you rang Stephen at the shop, he's a really helpful guy, perhaps somebody in the stores mis-handled your order?

I would be interested to learn the outcome and reasons why.

What sound service from, Kings Lynn Model Shop I ordered a Seagull Yak 54 yesterday at 11.30am spoke to a lad called Jack who was very plesant and understanding.
The plane arrived Today at 10am by Fedex, Great price including delivery i will certainly use( Kings Lynn Model Shop) again. As i have experinced lots of false dawns from very large model shops,
A happy new customer, Weasel....

Used them once excellant service usually deal with Galaxy.I can see Bob posted February ,and it cost me a fortune to send a parcel to Scotlands they charged a surcharge so maybe that was the reason

Last year February weather up there was terrible. I sent a parcel by Royal Mail Special Delivery, it took over two weeks. No refund as the conditions didn't allow delivery.

I thought I saw the Crescent bullet for sale at the Barkston Nationals this year.

I believe they were the manufacturers selling direct to the public, 2 nice girls on the stand though LOL

I flew one in the 70s and it was a very nice kit and a dream to fly.

Sadly too fast for me at the time so it only lasted a couple of months before I totally destroyed it.

Or are you referring to something completely different?

the one you saw at the shows would have been the kit build, with the box lid in traditional colours, the ripmax one is a lightweight ARTF, with a colour design by a 3 yr old,
