Got mine yesterday. I thought the big sailplane review was a good read but was a bit dismayed at the picture of its wiring. I'm an aeroplane sparky to trade and that to me just looked wrong!

Looking forward to the upcoming review of the Rcexel stuff by the WOO.

I found the Miss Wind 50E review interesting, especially the poor performance of the Hacker speed controller, 70A rated and it fried itself at 63A, also the Hacker battery was rubbish, only 1300W @ 63A, my favourite Turnigy 30C 4.0Ah battery does 1400W @ 60A !

Glad the magazine reviews this stuff so that I can stay away from the rubbish, nice plane though!

Hi Doug - I agree it doesnt look great in that particular picture - but if I can just add that I was actually assisting Simon when a lot of those pictures were done by John Bowman and Simon himself.
I even got to fly the beast quite a bit that day up the Orme - fantastic aeroplane incidentally.
From what I recall, the wiring layout and general asssembly of things was pretty darn good when I looked, so it may be that the pictures in the mag of the internals were a bit older....perhaps before all final fettling and so had been completed ?

Sorry David yes, I forgot to answer.

The second part has been delayed, our apologies. It will be along but I think Graham wanted more time with the radio. I will nudge him to reply here though, he has a habit of leaving a gap between parts.
