Interesting to see a nose skid rather than a wheel. I wonder if its just weight saving?
Looks good though and I reckon a two pilot jobby that actually releases would be a fun thing to see.

Impressive! It never fails to amaze me what is technically possible given a big enough budget and enough imagination!

Saw that on the BBC the other day
exactly my first thought...... yep it would be great "project X" to bring out at the field.
Every so often on Discovery there is a programme following the development of the previous "spaceship one" craft including the first sub orbital test flight. Amazing.
Im sure it was designed by Burt Rutan. Hes produced some really great designs in his time.

Did you notice the slight alteration in the wing of the "motherships "angles on take off ?
What a brilliant design with the tail configuration as well on the vehicle itself !

Got it that time. I must get the boss to improve our work internet connection, its disgraceful that in this day and age I'm not able to stream video like this easily whilst I'm supposed to be working.

They need to sort out that nose wheel shimmy on take off.
The landing was most impressive. At the final part of the decent it looked for all the world like he was going to slam it into the ground.
I guess a skid as on re-entry the whole nose section will get too hot for a pneumatic tyre.
