I am not comfortable with "not metric measures"!
I need to know the specification of the DC Sabre prop nut (I have lost it). Can you help me?
Thanks.
Antonio

It's either 2BA or 0BA.

Hello Antonio . BA stands for British Association possibly not that easy to find in Italy.

PatMc is right then there is no exact metric equivalent. 0BA is 10.49mm and 2BA is 8.23mm - not much help I know but at least it gives you an idea of what size you are looking for.

RC world might have the actual BA sizes - failing that any UK based fastener supplier. But you'd probably have to order a few!

Hi Antonio

If you get stuck PM me with your address and I'll make a few nuts up for you in 0BA,  I think I've already got some 2BA  ones

Note that 0BA  is very similar but not the same as M6 Coarse  ( 6mm by 1mm  ISO  /   Metric )

DC Sabre prop nut is decidedly not as big as 0BA which, as stated, is 6mm diameter.  It is 2BA which is 0.187 ins. in diameter.  The nearest metric size is 5mm which in fact has the same pitch as 2BA but would be too slack.  A nearer fit is No. 10 UNF which again has an almost identical pitch, but at 0.190 ins in diameter would be slightly slack, but might do the trick.   tomol

Thanks for your suggestion.
