Well at the suggestion of the Ed the Debutante puts on her make-up, I'm quite taken with the result and change a few rivets and paint can make. Time now to get the plan and write up finished.

Very nice indeed.

Now if you were to produce a 3 view and fake history someone somewhere would enter it in a scale competition.

Yes, Trust me, they would.

I was told that my Timber Reclamation Inc. VI Al Pursuit had won two club scale competitions!!!!

Well its been a while but with all the in flight pics completed the project I think is complete. If I can just work now on being in two places at the same time I might get the next one sorted a bit quicker.

Thats really nice lindsay,

it reminds me very much of ken shepperds Spartan Chief Executive in Radio Modeller in the mid 90s

based on that peter miller is exactly right, you could easily pass it off as scale! It would suit fixed spats/pants or retracts i reckon! Is there any news with the plan on the Grumman Goose/Duck yet david or lindsay?.......as i think it was built before Debutantethinkingsmiley

kind regards all Steve

After studing the plan, I feel that retracts would be almost impossible to hide in the L/E of the wing, electric would be nice, but the depth of the wing at that point is insuffiecent to fit, I think a set of spats would set the model of nice, unless the u/c was set behind the main spar, anyone else got ideas????

Well i'm patiently waiting for my copy of the magazine to arrive. Down here in Australia we are a bit behind (I'm going to get a subscription soon which should fix that)

Anyway I had a question regarding engines. What size engine do you think would work if I was to go 2 Stroke. I know a 4 Stroke would be better but they are expensive little buggers hahaha.

Hi Glen , yes subscibing does fix that waiting problem, I too used to have to wait, ... what 2 stroke motor?? a good 40/46 will do fine

Well I have a spare OS 40LA and a TT pro 46. I think the TT may be a bit to much for this bird though. They are an angry little engine hahahaha.

Glenn, personally, I think It is always better to have a little bit more power, than is necassary, you can always cut it back, and use less fueI, I think the La 40 will be wringing it's neck a bit dont know

I actually thought the 40 would be ok because the prototype is using a 52 FS and looks to be flying pretty quick in the video. Maybe your right though.

I know one thing though i'd like to fly it a bit slower and more scale like.

Either way I can start building it and I could always try both engines and see which one is better.

Only problem is it's going to be a little while away. I've got a BUSA Phaeton 90 to finish first and then I can either do this build or the Tony Nihjuis FW 190 from the special edition. Decisions decisions.
