Spektrum have announced a new 7Ch transmitter, looking very like the DX8.
I can only assume it's aimed at a lower price bracket?

15 articles way am I tempted to change my DX7 for this.
I have been considering the DX8 - but still unsure as to whether its really "geared up" for serious glider stuff. I understand that it can be used for 4 servo wings and so on, but that it requires a lot of mixes, or a special download or summat?
Presumably the DX7s will be the same...or worse?

Thanks Alan , but Im afraid your cpy and pasting screwed up the page layout, and I have had to delete it.
Use the copy and paste icon button on the forum and it may be OK
I was aware of the setups from HH - but they are mainly for the DX8, and its still not an ideal way to accomodate a 4 servo wing.

Personally... I dont think any of the Spectrum radios are geared up for gliders. They just dont have the mixes you want!
Me... I have gone for a DM9 module plugged into the back of a er9x clone with new firmware and backlight.
This is as far as I am concerened - about the most versatile platform around!
