I was wondering about electric retracts.Do they lock when they are down? The ones I have seen operate in the same direction as the wheels go,so could they collapse going over grass etc?

As per my response to your PM Keith.

E-flite sell them via most retailers where they can be ordered. The Horizon UK link page is here. Pop 'electric retracts' in the search box here too.

Hi Andy,
I contacted Robert via email and ask him about the air retract.
He sent me two sites to go to for the air retract components

www.rcsaleproducts .com & www.airpowernet.com.

Hope this helps you.

Does anyone know where i can get a copy of the June 2011 issue of RCM&E.

Many thanks
Eamonn

Neil - I designed the model with everything zero-zero although a degree or two of down thrust would be fine but probably not needed. As long as there is no up thrust. The critical thing on this model is having the req'd 3 degrees of washout. One of the best flying models I have

Hi I am new to this site and have just bought the plan pack for Rob Caso's 36.5 inch electric mosquito. Does anyone have a scan of the the original RCME article (June 2011) to help me build it?

BW Geoff
