Well I hope you get closure. I must say I have only sold a couple of things on Ebay and learnt the hard way not to trust anybody!

looked at myEbay account the other day & I had sold £20,000+ pounds worth since 1995, which sounds a lot, but what I've made a profit on is a fraction of that.

Truly, some buyers just don’t read the description! I had one asking would I put the plane in the post when it clearly states buyer collect. Another seller pulled out as they didn’t realise that Cornwall to London is quite a distance embarrassed

How long after the action ended and did they commit to paying in full?

Did use eBay a lot as seller and buyer but unfortunately to many people use it without thought for others either not paying for what they have bought or sellers changing there mind. By the way an auction is not legally binding on ether party which is why the big car auctions now insist on a deposit if you want to bid, obviously returned to you if you do not buy.

I'll also take the opportunity to point out that this thread is here purely for the purpose of directing readers towards members' listings on Ebay - it's not an off-Ebay platform for ramping up bidding on particular items.

Further multiple links to individual items will be deleted....

Play nicely, folks!disgust

Does that mean the 11 links to the Stearman will be removed or is spamming within the CoC?

What would that achieve? I thought my response was clear enough.

Time to move on, eh?smile

Whilst they remain there the precedent is set and shows that an element of exploitation and breach of conduct has been overlooked, if they are removed the rule is shown to be rigidly enforced for all, there can be no arguement then. That's what it would achieve.

My replies were removed in their entirety even though there was relevant content which could have been left through editing, however the spamming which preceded it is still there. Do the rules apply to all or are they selective?

OK, folks, for the sake of harmony all posts relating to the Stinson other than the original listing have been removed.

My original post on the subject made last night has somehow disappeared into the ether so I'll repeat the message:

I'll also take the opportunity to point out that this thread is here purely for the purpose of directing readers towards members' listings on Ebay - it's not an off-Ebay platform for ramping up bidding on particular items.

I hope this satisfies everyone - but I'm sure it won't.....smile
