Congratulations Allan thumbs up

Sounds like you have made a good job of your Panther according to Chas, how about a few snaps with man and machine?

Thank you Richard for the design. There were no pictures taken at Old Warden, but I'll take some next time I'm out, before I wreck it.

Errr, where's the "Edit" button gone on my 08:37:18 post?? Anyway, I just wanted to add a photo I took when I did my test hops last weekend. The upper surface is not white ... that's just the glare from the fluorescent covering affecting my camera! I'm still waiting for a spinner from my local model shop.

My Panther is coming along and I have a set of AJ blades for it. (They really are nicely made.) This is my first autogyro, Rich, and I wanted to ask if I should omit the shims as you did when you tried these blades?

Thanks for a great looking design and for all your help in these pages.

Michael

Hi Michael,

Your Panther is coming along nicely, great job so farthumbs up

Regarding the blades, they are well made!.... I would just try them first without any shims and see if they spin up OK. If they don't then add the shim and try some hops to get a feel for things.

Please keep us updated on your build.

Thank you, Steve. i finally finished scratching my head over the colour scheme and now I'm being reminded that different heat shrink colours shrink at different rates!

Always fun.

Very nice! One tip though: Although the Panther is a four channel machine but most of us manage with just one transmitter.

The upside would be less to carry to the field, but the downside would be that I would have to remember which transmitter to take! sad
