The main problem is that I live in brazil and postages are too high. I was trying to buy a downloadable version.

Carlos,

I have just searched ebay and have found THIS, worth sending them a message to see if they would post to Brazil? Failing that its SARIK as they own the rights to RCM&E plans I believe, I very much doubt they would send digital plans though as its their bread and butter.

You could also put a wanted add on this site, its free to do so.

Got to the point of adding a suitable motor. A search of my motor box only had one likely candidate, but cant identify it. Marking show that the Kv is 1050 with an external diameter of 42mm, 5mm shaft with 12 poles. Does anybody recognize its identity from the picture below so that I can establish if its suitable for the Panther. Likely purchase site would have been fat shark or HK.

On a 3s LiPo and an 11 or 12in prop, I think that motor should be fine.

Andy,

I'm with Trevor on this, the only issue I can see is a 3s may not give the CG required unless its a high capacity, worth checking out.

Yes, I did need a little bit of lead up front, using a 3s x 3300mah battery.

Was thinking of using two 3S 2400maH batteries wired in parallel. Would have put them is series but the ESC is only rated as a 4S.

Andy,

If you haven't already started cutting wood you could extend the nose by say 20mm. The prototype had a longer nose than that of the published plan, I missed the error when checking the plans going in the mag. Only the eagle eyed have ever noticed wink 2

Afraid I have already built the fuselage Richard. Bigger battery box would have been a benefit as the 2400maH batteries only just fit.

Is it too late to cut a hole in the bulkhead, like I did with mine?

Was already thinking about that option Malcom. Will see what the CoG position is first when I get the motor mounted.

I use a 4S 3300 which weighed 410g and also added about 80g of lead

Malcolm, that must have been a very compact 3300mah battery to only just poke through the firewall. Possible another option would be 2 x 1500mah 4S's stacked vertically.
