Superb Tim! seems you have "shiny" completely cracked. Trust you'll tell us the secrets of that too along with the plan?

Again, many thanks to you all!

Now comes the tidying-up part of the project - the plan, pics and article all need their final fettling before submitting to RCM+E. Then comes catch-up tasks on the rest of the collective hangar, followed by boring nonsense around the house.

Then I can start to mooch about for inspiration for the next project!

OK, enough......

Ian, given it's only had one landing it's a little too early to comment on the suspension, except that it survived without incident and was definitely seen to function at the point of touch down. No improvements to be made as yet.

Hi Tim, I'm just trying to figure how exactly I've missed the build blog all the way along. I guess I've been on another planet or something? Having had a good read, I see what a daft question it was to ask you how you did the shiny!
Amazing work, just make sure you look after her until Greenacres

A superb day today! Sunshine, little wind, a good turnout at the strip, and no less than two photographers to get some hi-res shots of the B2!

Three flights in total;

A little right rudder on take off keeps it straight, and it climbs out 'hands off'. More low, slow passes for the cameras (Netty and Bob Kemp), and then a 'proper' flight to give it a good try out!

So it loops nicely after a short dive, rolls abominably, stall turns prettily, flies inverted wallowingly, but is able to land at almost walking pace!

Mostly, it just bimbles about in a very stately fashion, looking good in the sunshine...

Such a beautiful model.
As I fling my foamies about I dream of undertaking a project like this, but at my great age I'm afraid it will never happen.
