I'm with you Steve, I have been all over it and cant see any mention of cellulose.

If it is its a cracking price, methinks it might be white spirit but i'll be along to the local Lidl on Thursday to check it out.

Cheapest cellulose up our way is £10 and its just gun wash quality.

Steve,/Seamus

got a tin today, it still does not state on the tin that it is cellulose.it states that it is a high quality ready to use solvent mixture and that it dissolves and removes polystyrene.

it certainly is cellulose

well done Seamus.

Jim

superdrug will sell you pure acetone for about ?1.25 for 250ml I use if for thinning epoxy for wing bandages etc. You have to buy it over the pharmacy counter for obvious reasons. I reckon you could use it for thinning paint though.

I mean £6.99 to find out just how bad my building actually is has got to be a bargain right?

you can buy acetone online from glassfibre/resin suppliers for £9.50 per gallon + delivery. If you are buying glassfibre cloth & resin as well this is the cheapest way to buy it. If you decant it into a plastic container ( an old fuel bottle cleaned out ) and make sure it is sealed properly every time you use it this could last a couple of years (or more ) all depends on how much buiding you do.
