Has anyone built a Swizzle Stick from the Peter Miller plan In RC ModelWorld Nov 2010?

In particular has anyone electrified it & extended the nose to make the CG correct with a lightweight electric motor instead of the relatively heavy glow motor?

Also the rudder looks quite small especially with the massive wing area. Any comments on whether the rudder should be enlarged?

No replies yet! Presumably all the forum members are loyal RCME readers and don't read the rival mags!

It looks such an easy and quick build that I would have expected quite a few builders of a free plan by now.

Hi Kc ,

I have the plan for the Swizzle stick and thought of building it but that is as far as i got with it .

So no not a Loyal RCME reader its a case of what ever takes my fancy with me .

And yes should be an easy one to convet .

So long as the motor and battery is as powerfull as the engine that is .

Well, I didn't feel the need to enlarge the rudder.

IT easy and quick to build.

Don't ask me about electric conversions.
