I have seen somewhere, where a chap added some foam built back to proper "step" position to make one into a flying boat rather than floatplane, added some wing floats for water ballance. Good flyer too.

Alisdair Sutherland at the Garnock Valley Flying club website has details of how to design and build your own Floats.

Well I have a Twinstar 2 but as yet I have not thought of immersing it! The Twinstar is about the same size as my Radio Modeller RM Trainer which dates back to about 1984. I have the RM magazine write-up and plan for the RM Trainer which includes a float option as illustrated on the front of the magazine. My guess is the floats would suit the Twinstar ?

The RM Modeller front cover for July 1984 is shown below with the RM trainer illustrated complete with floats. The free plan included full size float details.

I have scanned the float plan as below. One scan has dimensions shown. Some are upside down!----I can rotate if required.

Martyn,

The Twinstar seaplane conversion kit looks superb!----It looks unbeatable in both design and cost.

Hi Martin - theres a simple trick to the links. Type the word you want to be the link first. Then highlight it (drag the mouse over it) and only once that'st been done, press the link button.

I'll do the ones above.
Cheers

Chris,

Can you delete the repeated float plans please as the original inverted plans have been corrected ?
