Hi,

I have a subscription for both the digital and print versions of the magazine, so I was surprised to get my printed October edition, without getting the digital version first. I have just checked my Pocket Mags page and the October edition is not there. Can this be sorted ASAP as I use both versions - which why I subscribe for both.

Chris

Thanks David, I noticed it arrived yesterday, normally the digital version beats the print one arriving by up to a week - which why I asked about it.

When I log onto the website and click on the magazines button, there's a message in red stating that my RCM&E subscription expires in 20 days. In fact I paid my subscription on 16 September and have emails from both RCME and Paypal to verify that the payment has been accepted.

I am on the digital only subscription, but since the October issue came out I have been blocked from accessing all digital issues, with the message : An Error Has Occurred I'm sorry but we can't progress your request at this time (bad referrer). My browser is Google Chrome.

Is it possible that the erroneous claim that my subs is about to expire is linked to my inability to access the digital archive, and please can both errors be fixed.

Kind regards

Gordon

Hello! Trying to renew my print and digital subscription to India that expired a few days back. The link for renewal that I received takes me to the page where I am asked for password, I have input my forum/modelflying.co.uk password with no avail. Could some one from the magazine help please?

Thanks

Hi, I am an Australian subscriber. I have not seen an issue since the July 2020 mag. Is this because of the virus lockdown in Melbourne or is there some other problem.

As possible fix for Chrome users. Gordon, you might want to check Chris Bott’s post at the end of the first page here.

I am having trouble cancelling my subscription. I was directed by phone to send an e-mail but I am still having the mag delivered. I don't want to go into great detail here as I feel an error has been made. My question is ' is there an easy way to cancel, and if not why not.

Seems strange that a phone call wouldn't suffice Michael. Can you also drop Beth an email please and she'll sort it.

I believe Beth is on vacation (that's the reply I received 6 days back). And looks like there's no one else. Have received nothing else since then.

Alfonso - the way the system works, it needs an exact match to the details the subscriptions dept holds compared with your details on here and it looks like there was a difference in your surname that was causing the problem. I've amended it so both have the same details and I've checked and the subscriber area now works for you.

Manish - thank you for your patience in my reply. I'll search through my emails for yours and answer now.

For some reason my Chromebook will open the digital November issue without having to invoke the "reduce default referer header granularity" "flag". However, I still cannot read earlier digital issues without "the flag", which I have always turned off between magazine readings because of its undefined security implications on my normal web surfing.

Can other chrome users similarly view the Nov issue without "the flag"?

What's going on RCME? What is different about the November issue which lets chrome users read it when the earlier issues still remain inaccessible without the annoyance of having to set "the flag"?

Kind regards

Gordon

If I've had a subscription but didn't 'log' it in Pocketmags does that mean I lose all my digital copies form that subscription?

Please ignore my earlier post ref accessing the digital issues. Before I wrote, it was the case that the Nov issue worked but earlier ones didn't. Having had my chromebook switched off for a couple of hours I can now view all the earlier ones using chrome. I don't know why the change has occurred, but it has. I suspect that the chrome browser has had a crafty update that has eradicated the granularity problem.

Onwards and upwards!

Gordon.
