Anybody know whats happend to model engine spares web page and Lionel Kirby?

I was about to order a batch of items and was emailing Hayley as Lionel was in the US, when he returned they decided not to renew the web site which was a pain as I didn't record what engines they supplied parts for. She was getting an order together for me and said they were compiling a parts list. Now I cannot even contact them through the email, so if anyone knows what's happened I would also like to know as they had a good range of hard to get spares which I would like to get, or maybe somene knows of someone else who supplies parts for older diesels etc.

Thanks Barry

Same as me Barry. I had a list of parts needed and was waiting for the quote, now it's like they've disappeared!

Thanks Simon , I personally wouldn't bother them, it's just a shame that a reliable source of old engine spares has disappeared. If you have the lathe skills there is still a big market out there even if it is specialist. Lionel's work was first rate.

I pointed someone to Hayley on another thread after checking she was still selling parts (she is). I emailed her & her reply to me was on Thursday 21st.

I had an email from Hayley last week. Her father is not well and not making any parts at the moment. If you email her with what you need she will go through the remaining stock to see if it is available. If not in stock, no go Im afraid.

Guys...I umm'd & ahh'd before acting but I've decided to take the postal & email addresses out of your posts.....the Links Simon had posted no longer worked & if indeed they are closing the business they might not appreciate their address being published on a public forum such as this.....

I'm sure you understand...
