Given the prodigious amount of building you've done in the past year, Tony, it's hardly surprising!
A bit of time out won't do you any harm.
Look forward to seeing you back on here in the future

It happens to us all mate, a good break will bring back the enthusiasm for sure. Your work is very inspiring, you are like a building machine!
Looking forward to when you feel up to it again.
Have a good rest

Tony , do what i did .. have a clean out , get rid of the projects that wont or cant be done, and put any effort into the favorites when time allows, its not a race...
Best advise of all ,,, have a rest ,sit back and enjoy life ..

Tony, done the same myself. Look in from time to time and compare your new pastime with this one.
I started pigeon shooting instead. OK I had the guns but the sale of a couple of saitos bought me all the accessories plus 250 cartridges and the club fees were less than the model club fees.
All I need now is a dog.
Good luck whichever way you go.
BTW spaghetti bolognaise made with minced up pigeon breasts brings a lot of mmmmmms to our saturday night dinner table .

Sorry to read that you are hanging up the goggles and cap for a while Tony, i hope some other, maybe a new enthusiastic learner gives you reason to join the fold again, I've been down that road before. When i was learning i didnt take model flying seriously, it was just a fun hobby and had plenty of fun especially with my dad and brother, we flew out in the scrub away from any potential danger to others, sure we hit trees, crashed, laughed and carried on if a new model, control line or rc, bit the dust or flew well ( plan or kit built, none of that fancy arf stuff) but those memories still bring a good smile and sometimes a laugh to me at times; my models aren't contest winners, I'm certainly not a contest flyer type of guy, just the joy of puttering around or the occasional fast, low flyby a few loops or rolls and the smattering of decent landings.
I hope you don't just walk away.
cheers from bbc.

Shame to hear that, I liked following your builds and it was nice to hear your comments on my Domino build thread. A break will do you good I'm sure, have fun and I hope to see you back soon.

"You know," said Arthur, "it's at times like this, when I'm trapped in a Vogon airlock with a man from Betelgeuse, and about to die of asphyxiaion in deep space that I really wish I'd listened to what my mother told me when I was young."
(Ford) "Why, what did she tell you?"
(Arthur) "I don't know, I didn't listen."
Does that help?!
