Does anyone have contact details for Probuild, Blandford, Dorset other than the telephone number and email address on their web site

They don't answer either of these and I'm trying to recover a promised refund for non delivery of items

Any information would be appreciated

I live near Blandford and Phil the owner is a member of my club. Any dealings I have had with them they have always answered my emails and they do answer the phone (check opening times) but I have a feeling they may be away for the Nats

Thank for that, but I’ve had no contact since 06 August and I'm getting nervous and frustrated with the lack of response

GMcGivern,

Thank you for performing the public service of warning us all off Probuild. 6th August is plenty of time, no excuse.

'Fraid not, particularly with 'Pro' in their name.. Stands for 'Professional' This Isn't, not after three weeks.. And I have recently been tempted to use them. Won't now. A great failing of the UK, we tolerate poor service. too much. Don't get poor service from John Lewis. They were small once. Now they are big. I wonder why?.

its up to you, i am well aquainted with the company, and believe me, you are wrong, there are always 2 sides to a tale, and as for John Lewis yes you do get bad service, it took me 6 month to get them to honour a guarantee that was for 5 years, they where rude, and unhelpfull, and i will never use them again

I am amazed. But to me, not satisfying a current customer, but going off to shows to sell to possibly new customers is a poor way of doing business. Particularly after three weeks. Plenty of time to send a quick email or call him, I would have thought. Now they have lost him and me. They do YS engines, I believe, and have been the only consistent retailer of them for a very long time. Other YS retailers have come and gone, they stayed.. I might have bought the 170, but I know they can be tricky and I might need bits or service. Now I have my doubts. Not 'certainly' but it makes me think twice.

If you think I am just being bloody-minded, take a look at my post on the 'Powertrain for Junior 60' thread. And I am not being paid.

like i said, 2 sides to every tale, and a simple phone call could have sorted it out, once, YT was without an email line for 3 weeks, the amount of total abuse on forums was bordering on insanity, 1 tale, 2 sides

Not abuse, just reasonable to expect a reply after three week. But the original poster hasn't, is concerned, so he posted here. And Probilud has NOT made the 'simple phone call' you suggest, have they? Surely you cannot be suggesting that the customer should chase them? He may have done so, he says they answer neither email or phone. And I would be suprised if he posted here before trying more than once.

Just to clarify, I have made several phone calls over the last 10 days (not answered), I have sent emails direct and via their web site (no reply)

I am totally frustrated with the lack of response and was worried that maybe they had gone out of business, unfortunately due to location I can’t just jump in a car and visit their shop which is why I asked for alternative contact details (maybe someone has a mobile number for the owner)

It’s encouraging to know they are still in business, maybe there’s a reasonable explanation, I will persevere

I hope you receive satisfaction soon, please let us know when you do. I shall also steer clear of using the company in the meantime for I too cannot abide poor service unless there is a very good reason indeed, and attending shows is not a one of them.

Hi all

Well the Nats are over but still no reply to the phone, their web site says phone between 10:00 and 16:00, I tried several times today and no answer to the phone and no reply or acknowledgement to my emails

If anyone seen them selling at the Nats last weekend or pass their shop and can confirm that they are still in business I would appreciate if you could let me know

Hi,

They were at the Nats. I visited them. Every time I have used them it has taken a while to get through too and often been left on hold for a good while but always found the service was pretty good once past this point.

Good Luck.

Phill

Thanks Dale

I just don’t understand why they’re ignoring the phone and emails, it’s very frustrating
