Hi guys, as the title may suggest I'm interested to know if anyone has built an IC version of this lovely little model?

Thanks Dale.

I'm sure it could be done Dale...but I suspect you might need to beef up the front end with a bit of extra sheet etc to take the vibration?

Which engine do you have in mind for it? I would think a 1 or 1.5cc engine would be more than enough....dont know

Steve, thanks for the tweak. I was thinking about an OS 10??

Stephen, thanks for the link, I'm going to research this a bit more but I'm definately looking forward to having a go.

Dale.

I would think an OS10 would be about perfect Dale.....on an 8x4 or similar....

Maybe infill all the front between the balsa sticks with some 1/8th sheet & then add an internal 1/32 ply doubler back to the windscreen & taper this away to nothing by the mid point of the cabin.

You might also consider fitting some beech engine bearers like in ye olden dayes too......anything to help spread the load & vibration into the main structure......

Let us know how you get on....thumbs up
