Gents, it looks like we have a booking for WW

Jane has emailed me asking for photos of our models for a facebook feature announcing our participation. I asked her how she would like the photos received and will let you know what the procedure is.

In the meanwhile, find a tasty shot or get rigging and take another!

Jane asks that we each contact WW directly with a photo and brief details about each model. If you title your emails 'Stampe Team - aircraft details' or words to that effect it should find its way to the right person.

were you in level flight with this shot bert? if so I'm surprised to see how much up elevator you have on. Mine has a smidge of down most of the time

Just switched it on and it's a little bit up,,, but not to extent in pic,,, may have two much down thrust on,,, or poss to nose heavy,,, it doesn't like taxiing,,,

I just get on and fly it

Good advice!

Mine is balanced on the plan marks and is a few degrees nose down at that point. Never had any nose over trouble

Does anyone else have to fly theirs with a massive amount of down elevator? I think that I have put this question before and believe that the version of the plan I used from the Precedent kit must have shown the wrong incidence for the tail since those spruce longerons could not possibly have warped very much. Makes no noticeable difference to the flight characteristics. CG is 1" in front of the upper wing trailing edge as recommended by most so nothing to do with that. I used the preformed piano wires straight from the kit so I would guess that they are the cause of the problem. Tried reducing the upper wing incidence a little but it does not make much difference. I can live with it.
