I wouldn't touch it. The seller is based in China selling in the UK - but has no history - Mmm? As my mum always said - "if it seems too good to be true it probably is too good to be true"! A 3.1m wingspan, top end model, from Hangar 9 for £21 - what do you think?

they are 1300 pound over here and i guestimate probaly about 2-300 pound shipping , will be interesting to see what it goes for, i once spoke to a police officer for another reason to dowith ebay and he told me over a certain value you are not covered as its classed as a direct debit , not sure how right he was but he said he dealt with this type of thing all the time on e bay .

A lot of information in THIS thread on similar sellers. As Carperfect and BEB advise, go carefully.

It's an auction. It could well be genuine. What'll probably happen is a mysterious last minute bidder will push the price up close to RRP at the last minute.

With free postage from China? And no reserve on a model worth a fortune. And he's got two of them?

Somehow I don't think so!

I note he registered with Ebay yesterday! And no history under earlier IDs.

The person who won this plane has 46% of their 30-day activity bidding with this seller. That's slightly suspicious.

Hmm, I wonder though...

That winning bidder's entire 30-day history took place in the last 17 hours with 5 different sellers and 6 different items - all in the "Toys & Games > Aeroplanes" category. They have a feedback of 107, so it's quite possible that the winner is a genuine ebayer who hasn't bid on anything in the last month but has been busy in the past day trying to buy something and has "won" this one.

I could easily be wrong, but I don't think the buyer here is part of the "problem".
