I guess John P is busy upgrading his team and/or predictions again, but here we go, gents.

DON'T FORGET YOUR PREDICTIONS...

... & this is valid for Simon W as well. wink

FP2 showed the Silver ones 0,7sec ahead of everybody, even though Max was having a leak (his car that is)...

No idea what Signore Binotto is going to try to explain this time.

So my predictions tend to be > P1 HAM, P2 BOT & P3 VER. Easy-peasy... angel

Cheers

Chris

Terrible news re Nikki, although after his lung transplant last year his long-term prospects didn't look good. I liked his interviews where he always called a spade a spade and didn't mince his words. RIP to a very courageous and determined man.

Meanwhile, astute buying and selling earlier in the season has put some useful funds in the budget and now means that I have the driver I wanted from the start, so you guys up front - check your mirrors - I'm on my way...smile pteeth 2

Thanks Chris for reminding everybody and for your summary of practice. No, I wasn't upgrading my team... no cash left!

So I'm off to do my predictions now, so I'll only remind you once...

Don't forget your predictions!

My view is that you might be right, John.

I also think we had the first one already with Charles's quali position... frown

Did I wrote something earlier about Binotto's possible explanations? ...

As LEC is part of my team for his home race, I'm not really optimistic regarding Gaston Formula's ranking after the race. sad

On a side note, Lewis was just amazing today!

Good luck to all, gents.

Cheers

Chris

20 for me. Not my favourite race, apart from the tunnel.

Well Lewis seemed to be slightly on the back foot for most of quali, but then the final lap... where did that come from?

Watching the in-car footage towards the end of the lap I thought he'd blown it - but no, up came the time in purple. At least that's one prediction I've got right!

I've also put Leclerc for fastest lap - if he's still well down the field towards the closing stages then a tactical pit-stop could see him going for the fastest lap point. But let's not count our chickens, eh? dont know

It's a lottery this race; quite often throws a curved ball so to speak. Where money talks...…...

OK then... Hot off the press, the fantasygp results are now in. So how did we all do today? Let's take a look...

Well, well... better than I'd expected! My 172 points today seems to be our top score. Robin is up next with 156 and Iqon ties with John S for 3rd place on 149 points each.

How does this affect the overall table? That's up next.

So after Monaco the overall table looks like this;

13 +1 Team Charles Picd Charles Pic 640
14 -3 Torque of the devil Stu 627
15 0 teewrex John Tee 558

No change in the top two, but Flyer moves up a spot to 3rd at the expense of Chris.

Iqon is also on the move, 2 places up to 5th which pushes Pete and Kev down to 6th and 7th respectively.

My win today sees me grab 8th from Gary, who slips to 9th.

SImon is another one moving up, 2 places for him to 10th with Bondaero droping to 11th.

Tony and Charles are both up a place to 12th and 13th, but Stu is our biggest faller of the day, down 3 places to 14th.

John Tee continues to support us all - keep going John - you took 36 points out ot the gap to Stu today!

So, Canada is up next in 2 weeks. As some of you will remember, I do have some "inside knowledge" of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve! Sadly that is limited to driving half of the circuit in a rented Hyundai Tucson, whilst subject to a 30 km/h speed limit and numerous Stop signs for pedestrians to cross!

I did record some in-car footage of my progress and have compared it to Lewis' pole-winning lap. Let's just say I can play 0.5 seconds of his lap at a time and then pause it for several seconds waiting for me to catch up! smile d

Well done John. I scored a lowly 94 points. I expect to lose 15 of those as I had Bottles for pole and Hamilton pipped him. The Fantasygp site has me down for Bottas as correct for pole. My score was pathetic as usual but on the bright side Bondero and Stu had an even more bad day.

Thanks folks!

My team scored some decent points yesterday, and my predictions weren't too shabby this time - but I stil missed out on Fastest Lap (I said LeClerc), Safety Cars (I said 2) and third (Verstappen) and I only got a "nearly" for second!

I'm sure normal service will be resumed at Montréal!

First, big congrats to both John(s). yes

My lousiest result since the start of the season... thanks (again) to those fantastic 'strategics' at he Scuderia.

Can't they really listen to the driver anymore and send him back on track? He's the one supposed to hold the wheel, ain't it? One should wonder why they still call it a 'Driver' Championship?

Anyhow Charles himself must still be a lot more disappointed than his fans...

My predictions were acceptable at 35 points, but the Reds blew the rest of it.

Onwards and - hopefully - upwards to the Ile-Notre-Dame now.

Cheers

Chris

ps > ... didn't even know that Hyundai had a F1 car, John... blush
