Roll on midnight!

It's not looking good for my team but we'll do what we can with what we've got but look out next time!

Erm, is there anyway that we can see what casr & drivers other teams have?

Ian - I think that would be called cheating, the other team managers won't want to give their ideas away.

Didn't rate the race, I'm afraid - a bit processional with tyres dictating the result. My predictions would have been fine if the race result had been the same as the quali 1-2-3sad - and it didn't help having a non-starting driver!

Better luck next week! smile pteeth 2

Seems to be a glitch at the moment, Ian - I made some changes and lost all my points - went from 6thembarrassed to last...embarrassedembarrassed

Others are reporting the same so I hope it will be fixed soon.

What are others' view on me editing the thread title to incorporate a Fantasy League reference?

Sounded like a good race, listened to it on the radio. Not good at all for my predictions, knew I shouldn't have changed the fastest lap one. Level with IPjnet, hopefully SCF1 can rise up next time.

Oh yeah, blame the technology wink 2.

Changing the thread title may help searches at a later date.

Well, we're underway at last! Not perhaps the most exciting race, but a good drive from Raikkonen making the two-stop strategy work. I thought we were in for a Red Bull dominated race, so quite pleased to see that not happen! Ferrari look like being a force to be reckoned with, with Mercedes perhaps having a bit of work to do still. But very early days, and the cold, wet conditions are not representative of the rest of the season. See what happens next week in Malaysia!

Mini-league wise, a good start from Rob, with Robin snapping at his heels. Not sure where Pete's points went to - hopefully Adam at badgergp will get it fixed quickly!

Pete - yes, good idea, please add a reference to Fantasy Formula 1 in the thread title.

Ian - no you can't see (on the badger site) what teams others have picked. You can ask them directly, but be prepared for a blunt reply! teeth 2 I'm sure some of us may drop hints from time to time as to our selections and strategy (or lack of!)

Now, I'm not sure if I can post a table in here without the formatting getting totally mucked up! So bear with me - this is only provisional of course, until Pete gets his points back!

Great,  it seems I can.  A word of encouragement to those who find themselves near the bottom of the table,  the difference between an insipred, mega-points scoring selection and a total disaster can often be very small!

League positions, take 2!

The points charts on badger have now been "finalised" with some earlier errors corrected. (I don't recall this happening in the past with badger - I suspect the introduction of the extra prediction for safety cars has caused the glitch.)

Anyway, some of us have gained 25 points, some have lost 25, the rest have stayed the same. You can check your points scores for each race here to see how the figure is arrived at - just click on the "View Points" button for the race you are interested in.

And not only has Pete got his points back, it's put him to the top!

Now that is revers(e) racing! smile

Erm who made the fastest lap if it wasn't Vettel?

Huh! I'd still be last anyway sad

Oh well I can only improve.

Nice to see all those points but unfortunately my points breakdown shouldn't give me more than 68, so there is still a problem......crook

Ian - Kimi got fastest lap.

Pete - what does the "View Points" button from this page say? Does that show your correct team & predictions points? And does it correspond with your points score?

Thats probably the only time i'll see the top of the table.....When Badger makes a mistake.wink

All in all, it was great to see 3 or 4 teams with pace to mix things up in the season, even if it was all a bit static with tyres being the be all and end all. I must admit i was hoping for rain near the end to liven it up a bit.

Sorry about the delay - one session on a Kindle Fire proved I'm not designed to use onesmile

Breakdown of my points:

Car race points: 26, 10 and 0 = 36

Driver points: 0, 0, 4+3 = 7

Prediction Bonus for pole (well, who else was it going to be?teeth 2) 25

That adds up to 68 - where they get 122 from is beyond me....disgust

Pete - you were absolutley right. I got a couple of emails from Adam at badgergp this morning;

"I've checked Pete B's team and for Australia and his predictions and you're right that there does seem to be a discrepancy. I'll have this rectified immediately and investigate how this happened. I can only apologise, it's the first time we've had an issue in 5yrs of running the game."

and

"Just to update you, the cause of the issue has been found and sorted and be assured it won't happen again!

Apologies it happened at all"

So here is the corrected mini-league table, and embarrassingly, look who's at the top... embarrassed Well, there's only one direction I can go from there, and that's down! crook

Now, don't forget your predictions for Malaysia - I'll make no secret of the fact that I scored way more points this round for my predictions than for my actual team. It's worth getting a set of predictions in now, you can change your mind as often as you want until qualifying starts.

Well I have reluctantly changed my drivers and made my predictions.

Until I change them all again tomorrow that is!

Well, one prediction right so far... (Who wouldn't predict Vettel for pole at the moment - even if I don't want him to win!)

What's the chances of a race not affected by rain tomorrow? dont know I think it's going to be more about tactics than out-and-out pace tomorrow.
