Sale commences on line today 24 march, shops from Monday. RTP @ £20 (was £70 reduced to £40, see comments on Forum), Spitfire £70 (was £99), various small helicopters. Last week they were closing down Holborn shop. Hope that we are not about to lose another retailer.

Hi Kevin,

I think Terry means "Modelzone.co.uk". I tried hobbyzone and couldn't find any SALE, so went to Modelzone and they do.

IMHO, nothing much to see.

I think Terry might work for Modelzone. This is the second thread he's started about a sale there. Their prices are pretty mediocre and (certainly in my local one) the staff seem to have little modelling knowledge.

Big deal.indecision Can get the Spitfire for £59 at SWM. Hobbyzone are just box pushers and don't really cater for after-sales backup. Still, they do other things which are interesting.

Went to the Liverpool shop a few weeks ago. The sales staff were uninterested to actually sell stuff and asked if the p40 is coming out, they didn't know what a p-40 was, and thinking I was taking about the mustang! Doh!crying

Agreed - I wouldn't buy anything RC related from there unless they're all £10

I have however bought some airfix models from there for my son.
