Well done Phil, when I saw that scheme I nearly passed out at the thought of trying to do it! It certainly looks good.

The P2000 'not very synchronised' display team smile

What about the guy with the red shirt and fake tan; is that spray on?laugh

Looked like a good weekend even with the weather , BEB with powered glider! did someone drag him to the flightline?

How did the electric lineup compare to ic? I would be interested to know if solid ic flyers are slowly adding a few sneaky electric models to their hangars.

cheers bbc.

Well done boys - really appreciated the pics/vids even if they made me a bit jealous!!!

I think Pete B and me should have a serious chat about next year vis-a-vis travel costs and camping arrangements!

....the tan or the t-shirt BBC? smile

A lot of the fly-in gossip centered on the fact that not a single model in BEB's commodious car was i.c. powered! wink 2   By the way, a kindly person said we were synchronised insofar as we were all in the air at the same time.

Some excellent shots, certainly brings out the atmosphere of the event, I enjoyed it very much, but got called away early on Saturday and I missed the forumite photo shoot crying (cut and paste anyone?)

I actually left my Visionaire in the car for fear of it floating away in that wind!

I do have some pics to post as soon as I can upload them I will

Only a slow landing pic of the Hotliner? Did nobody get one at speed?

Did BEB go out and buy a proper glider yet now he's seen one?

A Saturday forumite gathering.

Just in case anyone wants to put names to faces - I can do most of these but not all I'm afraid! So from the left; yours-truely, Erfolg, Andy Green, VA, Phil Winks, Woolston Flyer (with his two little-uns in front), I'm afraid I don't know/can't remember!, (sorry!) Chris Bott and Steve Hargreaves.

BEB

Hi BEB, That's me third from right, Nev Haycox, A.K.A. Racing Snake (RS is from my cycling days). Sorry for not recognising you, you look nothing like your avatarwink 2. I got talking to Andy Green just after the photo was taken and before I knew it you had all dispersed and the chance for introduction had gone.

I only wish people had name badges so I could recognise them from the forum, perhape we could have forum badges made up to identify forumites on such occasions. Never mind I'm sure I will recognise more people each year if I study these photos wink

See you next year.

Nev.

Thanks Colin to be fair a lot of the credit goes to Tim@model markings those decals so made all the difference and his making them saved me much headache and lots of time

Great to see all these photos and videos especially since my camera spent the weekend on the kitchen table - where I wouldn't forget it sad

Inspired by this meet and the TUCs

Firstly, sorted the bench, this is the first time i have actually seen it in 12 months!

Then I built this, just waiting for canopy to dry then off for a test flight

Hmmm bench doesn't stay clean very long does it?

nah not Nigels blush

Its an old overlander rtf jobbie, bought many moons ago, but sat in a corner, thought i'd dig it out and give it a bash. Nigel's is still sat in the 'other' corner, although I did dig it out and give the plan a once over.

After the Stampe is finished (this weekend), then I promise Nigel's will be on the board, as well as PM's T31M, the Sebart 50E for repair, my BAe Hawk, the drawings for my scratch build Sopwith Dolphin, maybe an albatros or 2 and whatever else I can find to do wink 2

And in this case RTF stands for ready to fix as the construction was appauling, 3 days to do what should have been a couple of hours lol

Well it looks very smart and about the same size I guess - Nige's is 45" span.

48" of poor wood selection, weak parts and terrible hardware and next to no glue, I can see why they don't make it any more lol, but for £50 it'll do.

It gives me something to thrash around tomorrow night, whilst contemplating rigging wires, anchor points and turnbuckles lol
