``I'd like to kick this one off but I simply can't be sure which model I used for my A. I have a feeling it was an ARC Jupiter but as I said can't be sure.

Took my "A" with my tried and trusted Magician.

Would do the "B" at a push, but I have no current desire to take it.

"A" can't remember model or date. "B" Howard Blackwell Robin Alpha, taken about 1986. "E" taken July 1994 with Ruhig Tiger, Radio Modeller free plan. "C" Summer 2012, with old but sound Dave Smith Saphir.

I am a bigginer and purchased the E-Flite Apprentice S 15e which is giving me lots of confidence, my club instructer is also very positive about the plane and it'd training ability. But there is some doubt if I will be able to take my BMFA A certificate using this plane. This leaves me in a dreaful deliema since I had to realy budget for it so canot afford to get another plane just to take the test.

I Took my 'A' with an Irvine Tutor 40 mark2. It has been suggested that I use the same model for the 'B' when I get round to it.

I think I took my A test with a Precedent Flyboy that I'd added ailerons to. My B cert was with a YT International Iconic EP.

Took my 'A' with a high winged trainer called a 'Cosmo' - cant recall the kit manufacturer - 0.20 cu.in 2 stroke powered.

Took my 'B' with a Glenns CAP 232 - with an Irvine 0.60 up front. Solid combo.

Well did my A test with a 40" version of the stick. Leccy powered. Looking at doing my B but currently do not have a suitable model.

Glenns CAP 232 for my A in December 2005, and the same model in April 2010 for the B.

I had been flying 15+ years before finding an excuse to do my A, so it's possibly not the sort of model I'd expect somebody doing their A in more typical circumstances to use.

Took my A with an Irvine Tutor of dubious vintage powered by a nice new Irvine 46 on the 5th July 2010....

Took my B with a Wot 4 ARTF on the 8th June this year.... And it was powered by the same Irvine 46!

I passed my 'A' last year with my TN Sky 40 trainer. Not yet thinking about my 'B' but I think my Clean Sweep would be idealsmiley
